Control Open Graph Tags and Link Locations in Add Link to Facebook
The next step of the guide to the Add Link to Facebook WordPress plugin takes you through the process of setting where your links will be shown on your pages, and your Facebook open graph settings.
Step 1) Scroll down the ‘Add Link to Facebook’ page until you get to Additional Settings, and then choose ‘Common’ from the toolbar.
Step 2) The first set of options focus on where you want your Facebook links to be shown on your site. Tick the boxes below if you don’t want them to show on the Home page, posts, pages, archives or category pages.
Step 3) Tick the box marked ‘Faces’ if you want the faces of your Facebook fans to be shown in your Facebook box. You can also choose to have a mazimum number of rows, to avoid taking up too much space with your Facebook box.
Step 4) You can change the font, colour scheme (light or dark) and border colour by choosing from the options provided. If you have a colour code for your border, enter it into the box provided.
Step 5) Set a default post or page that you would like to link to from your websites Facebook activity by adding it to the box below.
Step 6) By ticking the box marked ‘Use Open Graph Protocol’ and the box below, you can tell Facebook how your shared content should be displayed on Facebook (e.g. article, link, image, etc.). You can also set your Facebook administrators by adding them to the box provided, separated by commas.
