How to Configure Fees for Listings in AWPCP
In this section of the guide to the Another WordPress Classifieds (AWPCP) plugin, we will take a look at how to set up Fees. For example, 7 Day Listing, 30 Day Listing etc.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, navigate to Classifieds -> Fees.
When the plugin was installed, a default Fee Plan of 30 Day Listing was added.
Edit Fee Plan
Step 3) To Edit a Fee Plan, hover over the selected Fee Plan to display a sub-menu.
Step 4) Click the Edit hyperlink to display the selected Fee Plan details.
Step 5) For this example, the Price and Credit fields are modified.
Step 6) Click the Update button to save any changes.
Add Fee Plan
To Add a Fee Plan complete the fields as outlined below:
Step 7) Click the Add Fee Plan button.
Step 8) Complete the fields as outlined below:
|A.||Name||Enter a unique Name for the new Fee Plan.
For this example, 7 Day Listing was entered.
|B.||Price||Enter a Price for the Fee Plan.
For this example, 10.00 was entered.
|C.||Credits||Enter the number of Credits that are needed for this Fee Plan.
For this example, 10 was entered.
|D.||Duration||Enter a Duration for the Fee Plan.
For this example, 7 was entered.
|E.||Units||From the dropdown list, select a Unit type.
The available options are:
For this example, Days was selected.
|F.||Images Allowed||Enter the maximum number of Images allowed for each Ad. The default value is 1.
If 0 is entered, the number of Images Allowed is unlimited.
For this example, 6 was entered. This over-rides the maximum images set up in Classifieds -> Settings -> Images.
|G.||Characters in Title||Enter the maximum number of characters allowed in the Ad Title. The default value is 100. If 0 is entered, the number of characters is unlimited.
For this example, 60 was entered.
|H.||Characters in Description||Enter the maximum number of characters allowed in the Ad Description. The default value is 750. If 0 is entered, the number of characters is unlimited.
For this example, 350 was entered.
|I.||Hide Fee Plan from Public||If checked, the Fee Plan pricing will not be visible to the Public.
For this example, this field was checked.
If the fields were completed as shown above, they will display as follows:
Step 9) Click the Add button.
The new Fee Plan is now visible in the Fee grid list.
Step 10) Repeat the above process for each additional Fee Plans you want to add.
