How to Add and Remove Credit from User Accounts in AWPCP
In this section of the guide to the Another WordPress Classifieds (AWPCP) plugin, we will take a look at how to manage Credit for Users.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, navigate to Classifieds -> Manage Credit.
By default, the initial user added to the Manage Credit area is the Administrator.
Assuming that the Credit option was activated, this is where you would add Users.
Step 3) To add a new User, click the Add New button.
Step 4) For this example, a new User, Tim Smith was created as follows:
- The Username, First Name, Last Name and Website were completed with the information shown below.
- Tim was assigned a strong Password.
- The Send Password checkbox was checked to send Tim his new Password.
- The Subscriber Role was assigned to Tim.
Step 5) Click the Add New User button to add this User and be forwarded to the Users page.
Step 6) From the Users page, hover over the selected User to display a sub-menu.
Step 7) Click the Edit hyperlink.
Step 8) From the Edit Users page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and complete the Classifieds Profile Info fields.
For this example, these fields were completed as follows:
Step 9) Click the Update User button to save any changes.
|For this example, we will add credit for the User.
Usually this would be completed by the User.
Step 10) From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, navigate to Classifieds -> Manage Credit.
Step 11) From the Users page, hover over the selected User name to display a sub-menu.
Step 12) Click the Add Credit hyperlink.
Step 13) The selected User area will expand to display an Amount textbox.
Step 14) Enter a $ amount for the credit in the Amount textbox.
Step 15) Click the Add Credit button to save any changes.
The User, Tim Smith now has $100 credit available to apply towards Ads.
Step 16) To remove or modify Credit from a User, hover over the selected User to display a sub-menu.
Step 17) Click the Remove Credit hyperlink.
Step 18) The selected User area will expand to display an Amount textbox.
Step 19) Remove or modify the $ amount in the Amount textbox.
Step 20) Click the Remove Credit button to save any changes.
