How to Moderate bbPress Forums
In this section of the bbPress guide, we will look at how you can moderate your bbPress Forums.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) Head to the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard and click on All Forums. From this page, all of your forums will be laid out in a list format, with the number of Topics, Replies, the name of the Creator of the Forums and the time and date that the forum was created on the right hand side.
Step 3) If you hover over the individual forum, five options appear – Edit, Trash, Preview, Clone and New Draft. The first three and the last option are fairly self-explanitory, but Clone may not be.
This option allows you to create a replica of the forum, which can save you a great deal of time if you want to create a series of similar forums that will only need a slight tweak.
Step 4) By moderating your Forums, you can see if any Forums are heading in a direction that you don’t want it to and take action.
You can click on the Creator and view all of their contributions on one page, and from there you can delete any forum that you don’t feel meets your standards or crosses the line of decency, before warning or banning the creator from the forums.
Step 5) You can also click through to the individual forum page and moderate the forum and topics from there.
The next step of the guide will focus on How to Create Forums with bbPress.
