How to Configure the Advanced Settings of the PayPal Donations WordPress Plugin
The third step in the guide to the PayPal Donations WordPress plugin will focus on configuring the Advanced Settings of the plugin, including showing statistics and setting the checkout language.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the Admin Panel, head to Settings >> PayPal Donations.
Step 3) At the top of the page, click on Advanced to start on the Advanced Settings.
Step 4) The first port of call is to enable or disable the PayPal statistics. Tick the box to disable this feature.
Step 5) To override the Theme CSS and create a center button for the PayPal Donations button, tick the box provided.
Step 6) If you want to open PayPal in a new tab when the user click on the Donate button, tick the box provided.
Step 7) If your theme or plugins add autostyling to shortcodes and widgets, tick the box for Remove Line Feeds so that they can do what they need to do.
Step 8) Tick the box provided for Enable PayPal Sandbox if you want to test PayPal Donations without having to make an actual payment. This is a great way to find out if the button and system is working for your users.
Step 9) The Checkout Language can be changed by enabling the feature by ticking the box, and then using the dropdown to set the language.
Step 10) The Return Method is used for redirecting users to the URL you have chosen once they have made a donation. Once you have chosen your method, click the Save Changes button to save all of your Advanced Settings.
