How to Configure the Nested Pages Settings for Best Use
The second step in the guide to the WP Nested Pages WordPress Plugin will show you how to get the best out of the settings of the plugin.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From your Admin Panel, scroll down and click on Settings >> Nested Pages.
Step 3) There are two sections to the settings page: General and Post Types. Starting with General, set your menu name in the box provided. Make sure you read the important disclaimer underneath, should you wish to change the name, as Theme Files will change with the new name.
Step 4) The Display Options section is where you can enable the Date Picker in the Quick Edit section. This means that you can change the date of publication of posts and pages in the Quick Edit section.
Step 5) You can Allow Page Sorting access to other members of your site by ticking the box of the users from the list shown below. Admin will always have sorting ability, so it is up to you if you want to give rights to any other user. Save Changes when you’re done.
Step 6) On the Post Types section of the Nested Pages settings, you can enable Posts and Pages for the Nested Pages functionality, and chose to make them Hierarchical and replace the Default Menu with the Nested Pages version, which allows for drag and drop. Save Changes once you’ve ticked the desired boxes.
The next step of the guide will focus on How to Make Changes in the Posts Section of the WP Nested Plugin.
