How to Configure the Popup Maker Settings and Tools
The second step of the guide to the Popup Maker will focus on the settings, tools and extensions sections of the plugin.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the Admin Panel, scroll down and click on Popup Maker >> Settings.
Step 3) At the top of the page, the settings are split into three sections: General, Assets and Misc. On the General settings, you can set which post types and taxonomies are supported by the plugin, and whether to show the Powered by Popup Maker tag in your popups to help out the plugin creators. You can also review the plugin in this section.
Step 4) On the Assets section of the settings page, you can choose to disable Google Fonts loading up, which is useful if they are already installed by another plugin. Simply tick the box to enable and click Save Changes.
Step 5) The Misc settings are related to enabling the Easy Modal v2 Compatibility Mode, which will add classes and themes to your plugin automatically. Tick the box and save changes to enable this.
Step 6) On the Tools section of Popup Maker (found via Popup Maker >> Tools on your Admin Panel), you can import themes and settings from Easy Modal v2 by clicking the Import button provided.
Step 7) Once imported, you will be shown how many themes and modals have been imported via Easy Modal.
The next step of the guide will focus on How to Create a New Popup with Popup Maker.
