How to Configure User Profile Fields in Users Ultra
The fourth step in the guide to the Users Ultra WordPress plugin will take a look at the Fields that you can set up for various sections of your communities, including social profiles, comments boxes and email forms.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the Admin Panel, click on Users Ultra -> Users Ultra, and then choose Fields from the Toolbar at the top of the page.
Step 3) On the Fields page, you can edit profile fields, add them to profiles, control the privacy of the fields and more. The first port of call is to use either the Click here to add new field button to add a field, or restore the default fields by clicking the button next to that.
Step 4) The next section is where you add the profile fields and set the permissions, icons and settings for each, including adding a label, an icon for the field (see the list at the bottom of the image below), privacy settings and more.
Step 5) The Profile Info contains the fields that a new user must fill in when they set up your profile. You can edit the name of the field, drag and drop them into a different order or delete them altogether.
Step 6) The Contact Info Separator is another field for your profile set up. You can add a field for a user to enter their web address if they have a website.
Step 7) The Social Profiles section allows you to add fields for your user to add their Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages.
Step 8) If your user wants to create a new password, you can add the field to the profile set up using the fields below.
The next step of the guide will focus on How to Setup Membership Pricing and Packages in Users Ultra.
