Configuring Easy Social Share Buttons – Flyin Setup

In this section of the guide to the Easy Social Share Buttons plugin, we will look at how to configure a Flyin.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) On the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, click Easy Social Share Buttons to display the Main Settings tab.

Step 3) Click the Display Settings tab.

Step 4) Scroll down until you see the Flyin Settings area and click to select.

Flyin Display Settings

Step 5) Complete the fields as outlined below:

A. Flyin title Enter a custom popup window title.

For this example, Please Share was entered.

B. Flyin message Enter a custom message that will appear above the buttons.

For this example, Share This Article was entered.

C. Flyin width Enter a value for the Flyin Width. For example, 420 (without the px symbol).

For this example, this field was left blank and will use the default width of 400.

D. Automatically close flyin after (sec) Enter the number of seconds the Flyin window will display before automatically closing.

For this example, 6 was entered.

E. Display flyin window after (sec) Enter the number of seconds before the Flyin window will display.

For this example, this field was left blank.

F. Display flyin window after percent of content is viewed Enter a percentage if you want to display the Flyin window after a certain percentage of the content has been viewed (without % symbol).

For this example, this field was left blank.

G. After user close flyin do not show it again on this page/post for him Place a checkmark in this checkbox if you do not want to display the Flyin message for the next 7 days for the user on this post/page.

For this example, this field was checked.

H. Manual window display mode Place a checkmark in this checkbox to activate the Manual Display Option which allows you to display the window when you decide by calling the JavaScript function essb_popup_show().

For this example, this field was left blank.

Step 6) Click the Update Settings button to save any changes.

Translate window texts and messages

Step 7) In the textboxes shown below, enter the translation text (if you are using localization).

For example, if the text was being translated to French, the text strings would be converted to French and entered in the appropriate textboxes.

Step 8) Click the Update Settings button to save any changes.
