Configuring Easy Social Share Buttons – Localization Settings
In this section of the guide to the Easy Social Share Buttons plugin, we will look at Localization Settings, where you can translate text for your audience.
Localization Settings are used when you want to translate the display text from one language to another.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) On the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, click Easy Social Share Buttons to display the Main Settings tab.
Step 3) Click the Display Settings tab.
Step 4) Scroll down until you see the Localization Settings area and click to select.
Step 5) Complete the fields as outlined below:
|A.||Language code for native social networks||Enter the 2-digit translation code in this textbox.
For example, en – English, fr – French, es – Spanish, de – German, tr – Turkish.
For this example, fr was entered.
|B.||Custom message on social network hover||Enter a custom message in the selected language that will display when the user hovers over a social network.
For this example, the Share on Facebook and Share on Twitter fields were translated to French.
|C.||Localize love you button commands||Enter a custom message in the selected language that will display.
For this example, Thank you for loving this. and You already love this today. was translated to French.
Step 6) Click the Update Settings button to save any changes.
