Configuring Easy Social Share Buttons – myCred Integration
In this section of the guide to the Easy Social Share Buttons plugin, we will look at how to setup the myCred Integration Module!
Installing the myCred Plugin
myCred is an adaptive points management system plugin that lets you award / charge your users for interacting with your WordPress website.
This plugin will need to be installed and activated if you want to add this feature. Click here for details on the myCred plugin.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) On the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, click Easy Social Share Buttons to display the Main Settings tab.
Step 3) Scroll down until you see the myCred Integration area and click to select.
Step 4) Once the myCred plugin has been installed and activated, complete the fields as outlined below:
|A.||Activate myCred integration||Place a checkmark in this checkbox to activate this option. In order to use the myCred integration you need to have myCred Points for click on links hook activated. For additional details, click here.|
|B.||myCred reward points for share link click||Enter Custom Points to reward a user when they share a link.
If this field is left blank, a 1 point value will be assigned.
|C.||myCred custom point type||Enter a Custom Meta Key for the points that a user will get when they share a link.
Click here to create your own key.
Leave this field blank to use the default (mycred_default) value.
Step 5) Click the Update Settings button to save any changes.
Prior to moving forward, we recommend that you view your site to see the changes applied above and make any modifications as needed.
