Step 4) On the Add Plugins page, type in the name of your plugin in the search box on the right hand side, at the top of the page.
Step 5) From the Search Results page, scroll down to your chosen plugin and click the button marked Install Now. If you would like to learn more about your plugin, click the blue link marked More Details
Step 6) The plugin is now installed and unpacked into your website. The last thing to do now is click Activate Plugin
Step 7) Once activated, you will be redirected to the Installed Plugins page. From here, you can read all the info about your plugins, and deactivate and delete it if you no longer need it.
Step 8) Once your plugin is installed, head to Appearance >> Login Customizer. The Start Customizing! button should take you to the customise page, but it doesn’t work, it heads to a 404 page. Ignore this, and head to Appearance >> Customize instead.
Step 9) On the Customize section, head down to Login Customizer and click on it to open up your options for customizing the login section of your site.
Step 10) The options for customizing the login form are Logo, Background, Form Background, Form Styling, Field Styling, Button Styling and Other (which is custom CSS and the colours of the text and text hover).
Step 11) The logo section allows you to upload a logo to the head of your login page, which is useful for business websites or any website that wants as much branding as possible.
Step 12) The Background section allows you to add a Background Image to the login page. It also allows you to set the colour and size of the background.
Step 13) The Form Background can be customized to add an image to it, and you can also change the color of it.
Step 14) The Form Styling section is used to alter the width, height, padding and border details of your login form.
Step 15) The Fields Styling section is used to change the width and margins of the input fields of your form, as well as the background. You can also change the field colour from here.
Step 16) The login button can be altered – including the background, border and hover – by altering the Button Styling settings.
Step 17) In the Other section of the Login Customizer settings, you can change the text and text hover colour, as well as set your own custom CSS, if you wish.
Step 18) After you hit the Save and Publish button, all of your settings will be uploaded, and you will see the changes on your Login page. The WordPress ‘W’ is where your logo will be, if you choose to upload one.
