How to Completely Setup and Implement Easy FancyBox

In this guide we’ll be showing you all the steps required to get Easy FancyBox up, running, and implemented on your WordPress Website. For this Working Example ensure your FancyBox Settings are the same as outlined in Easy FancyBox: Settings.

Visit Easy FancyBox: Settings to confirm this prior to continuing.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, navigate to Posts -> All Posts.


Step 3) Locate an existing post.

Step 4) Mouse over the Post Title to display a sub-menu.

Step 5) Click the Edit hyperlink.


Step 6) Click in the body of the post to place your cursor where you want the image to appear.

Step 7) Click the Add Media button to display the Media Library pop-up.


Step 8) From the Media Library, click the Upload Files tab.

Step 9) Drag and Drop an image anywhere in the white area of the Upload Files tab to upload the image.

Step 10) Once the file has finished uploading, enter an Alt Text for the image (recommended).

Step 11) Click the insert into post button.


Step 12) The selected image with the Alt Text has been added to the post.

Step 13) Click the Update button to save the changes.


Step 14) Click any of the options shown below to view the post with the inserted image.


Step 15) Mouse over the image to display the hand icon.

Step 16) Click the image to display the image in a FancyBox.


Step 17) Click the X button or anywhere on the image to close the image and be returned to the post.

Feel free to make any adjustments in the Settings area of the Easy FancyBox plugin.
