How to Edit a Page Using Visual Composer’s Backend Editor – Part 1

In this section of the guide to the Visual Composer Page Builder, we will look at the Visual Composer Backend Editor.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Dashboard, hover over your site name to display the Visit Site hyperlink.

Step 3) Click the Visit Site hyperlink to be forwarded to the Home Page of your site.

Step 4) Click the About Us menu item.

Step 5) Click the Edit with Visual Composer hyperlink to activate the Page Builder Frontend Editor.

Step 6) Click the Backend Editor button to be forwarded to the Page Editor for the selected page.

Overview of Backend Editor

A. Classic Mode Click the Classic Mode button to display the Original Editor that comes with WordPress.

B. Frontend Editor Click the Frontend Editor button to display the Visual Composer Frontend Editor.

C. VC Logo Click the Visual Composer Logo to be forwarded to their website.
D. + Click the + button to display the Add Element popup panel where you can click to select an element from the list and it will be added to your page.

E. Templates Click the Templates icon to display the Templates popup panel where you can save the current page as a new Template, or select a different Template to apply to the current page.

F. Page Settings Click the Page Settings icon to display the Page Settings popup panel where you can add custom CSS style(s).

G. Frontend Editor Click the Frontend Editor button to be forwarded to the Visual Composer Frontend Editor.
