How to Edit a Page Using Visual Composer’s Backend Editor – Part 2

In this section of the guide to the Visual Composer Page Builder, we will select an existing Template and append to the existing content on the About Us page using the Backend Editor.

From this point on, we assume that you are familiar with how to navigate to the Backend Editor.
If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, click here.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Dashboard, navigate to Pages -> All Pages.

Step 3) Hover over the About Us link to display a sub-menu.

Step 4) Click the Edit hyperlink to open the About Us page in Backend Editor mode.


Step 5) Click the Templates button to display the Templates popup panel.


Step 6) Click the Default Templates tab to display the available Templates.


Step 7) Click to select the About with Features template.


Step 8) Click the X button to close the Templates popup panel and be returned to the About Us page where the selected Template will be appended to the existing content.


Step 9) Click the Preview button to view your page.

Step 10) Click the Update button to save the page changes.



Prior to moving forward, we recommend that you view your site to see the changes applied above and make any modifications as needed.
