How to Edit a Page Using Visual Composer’s Backend Editor – Part 5

In this section of the guide to the Visual Composer Page Builder, we will continue adding content to the About Us page using the Backend Editor.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Dashboard, navigate to Pages -> All Pages.

Step 3) Hover over the About Us link to display a sub-menu.

Step 4) Click the Edit hyperlink to open the About Us page in Backend Editor mode.

Replacing Image

Step 5) Click here to download the zip file needed for this section.

Step 6) Hover of the image box located on the far left to display the available options.

Step 7) Click the Pencil icon to display the Single Image Settings popup panel.

Step 8) From the Single Image Settings panel, complete the fields as shown below:

Step 9) Click the Save Changes button to be returned to the About Us page.

Step 10) Click the Update button to save the page changes.

Step 11) Repeat the above steps to add in the 2nd and 3rd images (see zip file).

Previewing Changes

Step 12) Click the Preview Changes button to see the changes made above.

The Single Image Settings popup panel has a multitude of settings available. We recommend you spend some time in this area trying out different options.

Replacing Text

Step 13) Hover over the text block in the far left area to display the available options.

Step 14) Click the Pencil icon to display the Text Block Settings popup panel.

Step 15) Highlight the text in the text area and replace with the corresponding text located in the zip file saved earlier.

Step 15) Click the Save Settings button to save any changes and be returned to the About Us page.

Step 16) Click the Update button to save any page changes.

Step 17) Repeat the above steps to add in the 2nd and 3rd text (see zip file).
