How to Edit a Page Using Visual Composer’s Backend Editor – Part 6
In this section of the guide to the Visual Composer Page Builder, we will continue adding content to the About Us page using the Backend Editor.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the Dashboard, navigate to Pages -> All Pages.
Step 3) Hover over the About Us link to display a sub-menu.
Step 4) Click the Edit hyperlink to open the About Us page in Backend Editor mode.
Adding Call to Action
Step 6) Click the + button to display the Add Element popup panel.
Step 9) Click to select the Row element and be returned to the About Us page where the row will be displayed.
Step 10) Hover over the + button in the new Row area to display the Add Element popup panel.
Step 11) Click to select the Call to Action element to display the Call to Action Settings popup panel.
Step 12) Complete the fields as shown below:
Step 13) Click the Save Settings button to save any changes.
|The Call to Action Settings popup panel has a multitude of settings available. We recommend you spend some time in this area trying out different options.|
Step 14) Click the Update button to save the page changes.
Moving a Row to a New Location
For this example, the Call to Action row will be moved.
Step 15) Hover over the Call to Action row until the mouse turns in a four-corner pointer.
Step 16) Click, hold down and drag the row above the text row At their launch site….
Step 17) Click the Update button to save the page changes.
Step 18) Click the Preview Changes button to view the changes made above.
Prior to moving forward, we recommend that you view your site to see the changes applied above and make any modifications as needed.
