How to Edit a Page Using Visual Composer’s Front End Editor – Part 7

In this section of the guide to the Visual Composer Page Builder, we will continue adding Elements to expand on the existing Home Page design by appending an element to the existing right-hand Column created earlier.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Dashboard, hover over your site name to display the Visit Site hyperlink.

Step 3) Click the Visit Site hyperlink to be forwarded to the Home Page of your site.


Step 4) Click the Edit with Visual Composer hyperlink to activate the Page Builder Frontend Editor.


Appending an Element to a Column

For this example, the Facebook Like element will be appended to the right-hand column.

Step 5) Hover over the bottom of the Google Map element added earlier to display a + button.

Step 6) Click the + button to display the Add Element popup panel.


Step 7) Click to select the Facebook Like element to display the Facebook Like Settings popup panel.


Step 8) From the Facebook Like Settings popup panel, select the appropriate Button Type from the dropdown list.

For this example, Horizontal with Count was selected.


Step 9) Click the Save Settings button to save any changes.

Step 10) Click the Close button to be returned to the Home Page where the Facebook Like will be displayed.


Step 11) Click the Update button to save the page changes.



Prior to moving forward, we recommend that you view your site to see the changes applied above and make any modifications as needed.

You may also want to spend some time adding/modifying the various element options available.
