How to Edit a Page Using Visual Composer’s Front End Editor – Part 1

In this section of the guide to the Visual Composer Page Builder, we will start building the Home Page for the website that was created in an earlier guide. See the Visual Composer Page Builder Overview guide for details.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Dashboard, hover over your site name to display the Visit Site hyperlink.

Step 3) Click the Visit Site hyperlink to be forwarded to the Home Page of your site.


Step 4) Click the Edit with Visual Composer hyperlink to activate the Page Builder Frontend Editor.


Change Page Title, Page Title Text Color & Font Weight

For this example, we will change the page title from Home to Welcome, change the page title Text Color, and add a Font Weight.

Step 5) Click the Page Settings icon to display the Page Settings panel.

Step 6) Change the page title from Home to Welcome.

Step 7) Change the style of the entry-title class by adding the code shown below.

Step 8) Click the Save Settings button to save any changes.


Step 9) Click the Close button to close the Page Settings panel and display the changes made above.


Step 10) Click the Update button to save the page changes.


Once you have added a custom style, the Page Settings icon will display an orange CSS icon indicating that custom style(s) were applied.



Prior to moving forward, we recommend that you view your site to see the changes applied above and make any modifications as needed.
