Importing and Exporting Tables from TablePress
The final step of the guide to the TablePress WordPress Plugin will show you how to import and export tables into your website.
Step 1) On the Dashboard, scroll down to ‘TablePress’ and choose ‘Import a Table’ or ‘Export a Table’ from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, click on ‘TablePress’ and then choose ‘Import’ or ‘Export’ from the toolbar at the top of the page.
Step 2) On the Import page, you can import a table via a variety of sources, including File Upload (from your computer), URL (on the web), a file on server or by inputted manually. You can also choose to add as a new table, or replace or append tables or rows to existing tables. Hit the blue ‘Import’ button at the bottom to finish.
Step 3) If you want to add tables you have created to another website without creating them from scratch again, you can use the Export function of the TablePress plugin to do so. Simply go to TablePress >> Export a Table and add the tables you wish to export from the list of existing tables and then add them to a .zip file, which will then be exported to your computer when you hit the ‘Download Export File’ button at the bottom of the page.
