How to Install WordPress with CPanel

In this tutorial we’ll be demonstrating how you can install WordPress through CPanel, the industry standard amongst hosting providers. This tutorial assumes that you have an account with a hosting provider, and have your domain hosted with them. Further, we will be using Site5 Hosting for this demonstration.

Step 1) Log in to your Account with your Host.

Step 3) On the left hand menu, click Web Apps, then Install and Manage Web Apps.

Step 4) Click WordPress under Popular Apps, then click Install Now on the right.

Step 5) Configure the specifics of your WordPress installation. We strongly advise changing the database prefix to something other than wp_ and the admin username to anything other than admin for reasons of security. When you’re ready to go, click install.
