The next step of the Jetpack WordPress Plugin guide takes a look at Omnisearch, which is a very cool feature that allows website owners to search the whole of WordPress using a unique and powerful internal search engine. You can find something on your site, a plugin and more just from filling out one simple search form.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) On the Dashboard, scroll down the sidebar on the left to Jetpack and click on Omnisearch from the dropdown menu.

Step 3) In the search box provided, enter anything you like. Omnisearch will then search the whole of WordPress for what you are looking for, including Posts, Pages, Comments, Plugins, Media and Feedback.

Step 4) A Title and Snippet will show for any Post, Page, Media, Feedback or Comment that features the word or search term you used in Omnisearch.

Step 5) What is most impressive about the search is that it really is a one-stop search shop, and by searching for Stats in Omnisearch, it brings up a list of Plugins that are related to WordPress stats, which if you wanted to install a plugin for stats, would be extremely helpful.

The next step of the guide will focus on How to Use Aksimet for Jetpack.
