How to Use Third Party Mail Servers in MailPoet

In this article, we will show you how to use a third party mail server to send emails.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) Click the MailPoet link from the left-hand menu.

Step 3) Click the Settings link from the left-hand menu.

Step 4) Click the Send With tab.

Step 5) Click the Third Party option.

Step 6) Enter the SMTP hostname.

Step 7) Enter your Login and Password.

Step 8) Enter the Port for your mail server. This can normally be set to port 25.

Step 9) Select the preferred option for secure connections.

Step 10) If your server needs authentication (most do), set the Authentication option to yes.

Step 11) Click the Send a test mail button.

Step 12) Once the text email has been sent and you confirm that everything is working correctly, click the X at the top right of the popup to close it.

Step 13) Click the Save Settings button.
