How to Display a Created Map from MapifyPro

In this section of the guide to the MapifyPro plugin, we will show you how to display the Saks Map created earlier by using a shortcode.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard navigate to MapifyPro -> Maps.


Step 3) Highlight and copy the shortcode to the clipboard (CTRL+C).


Step 4) Navigate to Pages -> Add New to create a new page to display the map.


Step 5) Enter a Title for the page, and paste the shortcode into the body (CTRL+V).


You can change the width of the map by modifying the “height=”300” in the shortcode
For this example, the height will be changed to 600: [custom-mapping map_id=”1234″ height=”600″]

Step 6) Click the Save Draft button or the Publish button to save the page.

Step 7) Click the Preview button to view the map.


Step 8) To tweak the appearance of the map, navigate to MapifyPro -> Maps and edit the Saks Map.

Notice that all the Map Locations outlined in the Add Map Location Guide are visible.

Display the Map Location

To display the Greenwich Map Location added earlier, perform the following steps:

Step 9) From the Filter dropdown list, select 06830 to display a Pin Image for the Greenwich location.

Step 10) Hover over this location to display the Tooltip entered earlier.


Step 11) Click the Pin Image to view a pop-up window which will display the YouTube Video, the YouTube Description and the Image added earlier.
