Welcome to the WordPress plugin guide for the All in One Favicon plugin, which allows you to create a Favicon to your site and the WordPress admin pages. The plugin supports three Favicon types (ico, png and gif) and comes complete with an upload functionality.

Step 1) On the Dashboard of your website, scroll down the left-hand sidebar and click on ‘Plugins’

Step 2) From the ‘Installed Plugins’ page, click on ‘Add New’ at the top of the page. Alternatively, click on ‘Add New’ from the dropdown menu under ‘Plugins’ on the sidebar.

Step 3) On the ‘Add Plugins’ page, type in the name of your plugin in the search box on the right hand side, at the top of the page.

Step 4) From the ‘Search Results’ page, scroll down to your chosen plugin and click the button marked ‘Install Now’. If you would like to learn more about your plugin, click the blue link marked ‘More Details’

Step 5) The plugin is now installed and unpacked into your website. The last thing to do now is click ‘Activate Plugin’

Step 6) Once activated, you will be redirected to the ‘Installed Plugins’ page. From here, you can read all the info about your plugins, and deactivate and delete it if you no longer need it. Click on ‘Settings’ underneath to go to the settings for the plugin.

Step 7) The first section on the Settings page is the Frontend Settings. This is where you can post the image links of your chosen images (either in ICO, GIF or PNG and Apple Touch form) and upload them to the plugin. The Frontend is where your Favicon will show on your main website (URL, tab, comments, etc.)

Step 8) The same rules apply for the Backend settings, and the Favicon you decide to upload here will show up in your admin panel.

Step 9) In the next section, you can give your Apple Touch icon a reflective shine by ticking the box below. You can remove the link to the developers site from the meta-box on the site by ticking the second box.

Step 10) Even the most knowledgeable WordPress geeks need a helping hand sometimes. For tips and info on Favicons, use the links below to find helpful pages on types, sizes, editing and validating tips from your Favicons.

Step 11) You should be saving your progress as you go, but if you ever need to delete your settings, scroll to the bottom of your Settings page and tick the box marked ‘Delete Settings’ and click the button beside it. You can start from scratch from this point.

I put All In One Favicon Plugin in my site and it just works great. I thought I would need some special knowledge to insert the Favicon but it was super easy.
It works perfectly with my bilingual blog. Both languages have the same favicon without issues.
Here are examples of the same pages in two different languages:
    http://foradazonadeconforto.com/como-escolher-e-comprar-seguro-de-viagem/ (Brazilian Portuguese)
    http://outofyourcomfortzone.net/how-to-buy-travel-insurance/ (English)
    Just a great Plugin.
