Security Review, Sys Info and Locked IPs – All In One WP Security & Firewall

In this section of the guide to the All In One WP Security & Firewall plugin, we will take a look at the Dashboard where you can find a security overview, system info, and locked IPs.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) On the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard navigate to WP Security -> Dashboard.

The options for this feature are shown below.

  • Dashboard

    This options displays a security overview of your site.

    A. Security Meter Gauge The purpose of this guage is to keep you informed of how secure your site is based on the how many of the security options you have activated. This gauge also displays the Total Achievable Points (maximum points) vs. the Current Score of your site.
    B. Security Points Breakdown This option breaks down security points that need to be addressed. In this example, File Permissions and Change Admin Username are displayed as points that need to be secured.
    C. Maintenance Mode Status This option allows you to put your site into Maintenance Mode by locking down the front-end to all visitors except logged in users with super admin privileges. Click the ON button to display the Visitor Lockout screen where you can enter a message you wish to display to anyone visiting your site while it is in Maintenance Mode. Click the Save Site Lockout Settings button to save your changes and put your site in to Maintenance Mode.

    D. Last 5 Logins This option displays the User, Date and IP address of the last 5 logins (newest to oldest).
    E. Critical Feature Status This option shows the current status of the critical features you should activate on your site to achieve a minimum level of recommended security.

    • Admin Username
    • Login Lockdown
    • File Permission
    • Basic Firewall
    F. Logged in Users This option displays all users that are currently logged in.
    G. Locked IP Addresses If you find that your site is being attacked, you can lock out the IP Address.

  • System Info

    This option displays details on your Site Information, PHP Information and a list of all Active Plugins.

    This option displays a list of blocked IP Address Range.
