How to Configure Page Builder by SiteOrigin
In the second part of the guide to the Page Builder by SiteOrigin WordPress plugin, we will take a look through the settings of the plugin, and what they mean for your website at large.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) To find the Page Builder settings, head to the Settings section of your Dashboard and scroll down to Page Builder on the dropdown. This will bring up everything you need to get your plugin set up correctly.
Step 3) The General Settings are pretty simple: Tick the boxes for Pages and Posts if you want to allow for pages and posts to be available for page builder.
Step 4) Enabling Copy Content to Post Content means that page builder will be denied the ability to copy its contents to the Visual and/or Text tab of the page editor.
Step 5) Enabling Animations will allow you to add animations to your site, but be warned: This can slow your site down considerably.
Step 6) Bundled Widgets are a collection of widgets that can be edited and moved around your site. Enable these and you will have plenty of widgets to shift around your site.
Step 7) The display of your widgets are important, as you want them to look great on your site. Tick the Responsive box to enable your displays to adapt to mobiles, laptops and tablets. You can also change the mobile width, margins and the inline CSS to alter the layout for when different devices visit your site.
The next step of the guide will focus on How to Create with Widgets and Page Builder.
