Setting up and Managing Listing Fees with the Business Directory Plugin
The fourth step to the Business Directory guide will show you how to set-up and manage fees, which includes how you manage payments and more.
Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2) From the Admin Panel, head to Directory Admin >> Main Menu. From the Main Menu, click on Setup/Manage Fees.
Step 3) On the Manage Fees page, you will be prompted by a note telling you that no gateway is active and properly configured in order to accept payments. You can click on the link marked Manage Options >> Payment to change the settings and take the directory out of Free Mode. (We went through these settings in the second part of the guide).
Step 4) You can pay to have certain Gateway Modules attached to your Business Directories so that you can accept payments. These include PayPal, 2Checkout, PayFast and Stripe. Click on the links for info and payment details.
Step 5) On the Manage Fees page, click on the link marked Add New Listing Fee to set up your listing fees.
Step 6) The Add Listing Fee section is split into different sections, including Label and Fee Amount, how long the listing will run for in days, the number of images allowed in a listing, and the category you apply the listing to.
