How to Setup Clean Login for use with WordPress

The second step in the Clean Login guide will show you how to setup the plugin, including shortcodes, spam protection, and more.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) Head to Settings >> Clean Login to be taken to the Clean Login settings page.


Step 3) The shortcodes for the four different login forms: Login, Profile Editor, Registration Form and Lost Password, can be seen at the top of the page, along with the plugin status for each, including whether they are being used and where.


Step 4) The next step is to set the Options, starting with your choice of whether or not to hide the Admin bar for non-admin users. Tick or untick the box depending on the choice you have made.


Step 5) The next step is to disable/enable the Dashboard to be accessed for non-admin users.


Step 6) Enable or disable a captcha form for your login forms by ticking the box shown below.


Step 7) Standby Role is used to disable all the capabilities for new users until the Admin changes. Tick the box to enable this feature.


Step 8) If you wish to hide the username from the Preview form, tick the box shown below. Save the changes by hitting the blue button at the bottom of the page and your settings are done and dusted!
