How to Setup Related Posts in your Feeds with Contextual Related Posts

The final step in the guide to the Contextual Related Posts WordPress plugin will guide you through the Feed Options of the plugin.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Admin Panel, click on Settings >> Related Posts. On the toolbar at the top of the page, click on Feed Options.


Step 3) The first step in the feed options section the number of related posts to display, and whether you wish to show post excerpts in a list. It is worth noting that all feed options override the related posts settings for your blog feed, and they only apply if you have selected the Add Related Posts to Feeds in the General Options section.


Step 4) Use the options provided to set a location of your post thumbnails – including before title, after title, etc.


Step 5) You can set the maximum width and height of the thumbnail by entering a number of pixels into the boxes provided. Hit Save Options when you’re done.


Step 6) The Custom Styles section is used for users to add custom CSS to the header of their site. Alternatively, tick the box marked use default style included in the plugin to use the default style.
