In this article, we will talk about when you should use pages rather than posts.

Let us first start by defining what each one is…

The original idea of posts is to have blog style layout that WordPress is known for. However posts can be used to share content in a dynamic, easy to search way. Using posts and categorizing them makes it easy for your visitors to keep track of whats new on your site.

Pages are static pages that can be used to display content outside of your normal blog posts. This can be helpful for about us pages, services, contact information, etc. With the same power and flexibility as a regular blog post, pages can expand the type of content on your site.

When you need content outside of your blog/posts, we recommend using a page rather then trying to use a post.
