How to Use the Visual Composer Grid Builder – Part 2

In this section of the Visual Composer Advanced Grid Builder we will look at getting set up to display the Post Grid type.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Change Menu Item

Step 2) Navigate to Appearance -> Menus.

Step 3) Change Join to News.

Step 4) Click the Save Menu button to save any changes.

Change Page Title

Step 5) From the Dashboard, navigate to Pages -> All Pages.

Step 6) Hover over the Join page name to display a sub-menu.

Step 7) Click the Edit hyperlink.

Step 8) Change the Page Title from Join to News.

Add New Post Category

Step 9) From the Dashboard, navigate to Posts -> Categories.

Step 10) Create a new category called Festivals.

Create New Posts

For this example, 6 new posts will need to be created.

Step 11) Click here to download the zip file which contains all the information you need to create these posts.

Step 12) Set the appropriate image as the Featured Image.

Step 13) Assign each post to the General category.

Step 14) Assign Posts 1, 2 and 5 to the Festivals category as well.

Step 15) Publish the posts.
