In this article, we will look at installing the Widget Context Plugin and optimizing it for your website.

Step 1) Login to the Dashboard

Step 2) Click on the Plugins section on the Left Sidebar

Step 3) Click on “Add New”

Step 4) Type “Widget Context” into the search box

Step 5) Scroll down to “Widget Context” and click Install Now

Step 6) On the next page, click “Activate”

All done? Now you’re ready to get started! The next step is configuring the Plugin to get the best results out of it…

Step 7) On the left sidebar, click on Appearance.

Step 8) When the page reloads, you will see a dropdown with various options on it. From this, choose Widgets.

Step 9) Your widgets are what determines what content you will be in the sidebars of your website. These are usually found on every page ad post on your website, but can be distracting and take attention away from the content. With this in mind, Widget Context allows you to determine what posts and pages each widget will be displayed. See the pic below to see how to see the widget context options.

Step 10) Open each of your widgets and tick the boxes of the pages and posts that you want to show the widgets on. You can choose to have them on every single one, target by specific URL or choose to have them only on posts and pages with a certain amount of words. Once you have completed each widget, hit Save before moving on to the next. This will update it on the next page.
