How to Setup Piggy Pro with WooCommerce – Mobile Sales Stats
In the next WooCommerce WordPress plugin add-on guide, we will show you how to install and implement the Piggy Pro add-on, which allows you to view your ecommerce website sales stats via an app on your mobile.
Step 1) On the Dashboard, head to ‘WooCommerce’ and click on ‘Add-ons’ from the dropdown.
Step 2) From the Add-ons section, click on ‘Free’ to bring up the list of free add-ons, and then click on ‘Piggy Pro’ from the list provided.
Step 3) This will direct you to the WordPress.org plugin page for ‘Piggy Pro’. Give the details a read-through before clicking ‘Download’, which will send a copy of the plugin to your Downloads folder in the form of a .zip file.
Step 4) Back on your website Dashboard, scroll down your sidebar and click ‘Plugins’, and then ‘Add New’. From the next page, hit ‘Upload’ and then ‘Choose File’, and find the .zip file for your new plugin and click on ‘Install Now’.
Step 5) Now that the plugin has installed, click on ‘Activate Plugin’ to complete the process.
Step 6) From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, scroll down to ‘Piggy’ and click on it to be sent to the Overview page for Piggy Pro, where you can view your sales and see how much cash you have made.
Step 7) Click on Settings and choose a URL for your account. You can also change the time zone, eCommerce platform, language and currency symbol.
Step 8) You can alter your security options to create a numeric passcode for Piggy Pro. You can change the number of digits you need for a passcode, too. Tick the box provided if you want customers to add their passcode each time they access Piggy Pro via your website.
Step 9) In the Advanced Settings, enter a number in the boxes to adjust the all-time sales count and all-time sales total. This can be used to account for sales via other ecommerce channels too. By ticking the box marked for WordPress timezones, they can be added to Piggy Pro time calculations. The Panels section will show a number of best-sellers, based on Piggy Pro calculations.
Step 10) You can have real-time Push notifications sent to your mobile or iOS device by choosing Howl or Prowl from the dropdown under ‘Notification Service’. You must have one of these services downloaded on your device for the notifications to come through.
