Total Web Solutions Payment Gateway Integration with WooCommerce
In the next WooCommerce WordPress plugin add-on guide, we will show you how to install and implement the Total Web Solutions add-on, which is a payment gateway for WooCommerce.
Step 1) On the Dashboard, head to ‘WooCommerce’ and click on ‘Add-ons’ from the dropdown.
Step 2) From the Add-ons section, click on ‘Free’ to bring up the list of free add-ons, and then click on ‘Total Web Solutions’ from the list provided.
Step 3) This will direct you to the WordPress.org plugin page for ‘Total Web Solutions’. Give the details a read-through before clicking ‘Download’, which will send a copy of the plugin to your Downloads folder in the form of a .zip file.
Step 4) Back on your website Dashboard, scroll down your sidebar and click ‘Plugins’, and then ‘Add New’. From the next page, hit ‘Upload’ and then ‘Choose File’, and find the .zip file for your new plugin and click on ‘Install Now’.
Step 5) Now that the plugin has installed, click on ‘Activate Plugin’ to complete the process.
Step 6) From the Dashboard, scroll down to ‘WooCommerce’ and then click on ‘Checkout’ from the settings screen. From the toolbar below, click on ‘Total Web Solutions’.
Step 7) The first port of call is to enable the add-on by ticking the box provided. You can also change the Title and Description for your customers, but don’t change what is already written unless you are sure you can do a better job. You don’t want to confuse your customers.
Step 8) When you signed up to Total Web Solutions, you will have been given an API customer number/login and set up a secret password for verifying transactions. Enter them in the boxes shown below to confirm your account details.
Step 9) If you are testing your payment methods by making dummy bookings, you can set your transaction mode to ‘Test’ using the box shown below. Change this to ‘Live’ when you’re ready to take bookings for real.
Step 10) To enable debug logging, tick the box shown below.
