This section of the guide looks at the Live Traffic feature of the Wordfence Security WordPress Plugin.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) To open the Live Traffic section, head to the Dashboard and from the Wordfence section of the Left-hand sidebar, choose Live Traffic.

Step 3) From the Live Traffic section, you can follow your site’s activity in real-time (and you can also choose to turn this feature off using the On-Off switch at the top of the page).

As you can see from the pic below, Wordfence keeps an eye on Humans, Registered Users, Crawlers and Google Crawlers. It also keeps tabs on the number of Logins and Logouts, the Top Consumers and the Top 404s and Pages Not Found. You should start to see patterns if there are any irregular or suspicious users or activity taking place, and be able to take action using the Blocking options on the Plugin.

The next step of the guide will focus on Wordfence Security Performance Setup.
